In the past I've mentioned this area of Ignatius Loyola Park in Montreal's NDG neighbourhood; it's described as a place of peace and quiet despite construction work nearby and permanent tables for chess, ping pong, and other games, and a splash pad for children. The park is mostly quiet and always worth walking through, sitting on one of the many benches, or lying on the grass and staring at the sky. The City of Montreal has maintained this park and it is ideal for all visitors.
